animals of Aruba

the adult only beach had flamingo's and of course who is going to follow the rule of adults only when there are cool animals to show your kids - no one!  They were very friendly and Lane was mystified!

 lots of little lizards too - these little guys took up residence under Lane's chair at the restuarant at the private island and they did a superior job at cleaning up after him!

Vacation was over way too fast so I'll be posting day by day and it might take a while - we shall see how diligent I am.Day one...

Lane is going after a crab or something?  Lots of paths to take around the grounds of the resort.  This was the first of many morning walks!  After we hit Starbuck - the prices were cheaper than the US go figure and the coffee all the better with the water from the island - Lane much enjoyed his daily muffin too.  The fruit was hit or miss with him.  If it's not a banana it's probably not going to stay in his mouth unless I fool him.

Sunday Series - the pull up

I'm getting clapped at for some reason at the moment - he really likes banana's and as long as I keep the pieces coming I get to blog and play with pictures!  It appears clapping might indicate he is done eating.  As does throwing food and the sippy cup.  I prefer the round of applause personally.

So this parade stuff isn't as bad as he feared - all smiles once he heard the bands and saw the flashing lights.  Nice warm, muggy day with the rain holding off!  whew.
