Football Season Kicks Off

First game of the season - a full house of over 5,000.

The game was in honor of firefighters, policemen and EMS workers. You could get tickets for your whole group for $10 each quite the deal. So we went with another firefighter and his fiance. Tiff is doing the cooking above. So this ticket deal... turns out if you ordered online you could get it. No proof required. So the full house was probably not all firefighters and such.

Game at noon means breakfast on the grill and beer for the boys. blech. I will say the general admission parking lot was way better than where we parked when we had season tickets. It had grass, bands, football areas to play in and great views.

In honor of heroes this guy in the red tie and his partner in the wheelchair raised the first flag at the Towers on 9/11 in the aftermath. I'm thinking they are in that all famous photo.

Baby S's first football game. He loves all those football noises and was well behaved.
Maybe the football should be on my tummy? Sure feels like a football in there.

This is why we go - the sky jumpers. Love watching them come down and land on the target.
